What is sustainable fashion?

"Sustainable" may seem like a buzz word in the industry today, but what does it mean for fashion?

Here are examples of things Too Flame & other eco-conscious brands prioritize to commit to sustainability.

Upcycling

Upcycling is the process of reusing discarded items or material in such a way as to create a product of higher quality or value than the original.

Recycling material to create new beautiful pieces helps reduce the amount of waste that can be created by consumerism, all while bringing beauty into the world.

High-Quality Material

In contrast to "fast fashion", sustainable fashion prioritizes the use of high-quality material that is meant to last and be worn long term. We focus on creating classic high end pieces that transcend micro-trends.

Natural Dyes

Natural dyes are non-toxic, hypoallergenic, and don't release harmful by-products into the environment. They are also safe for body contact making them the more eco-conscious option.
